Foreign Government Employment (FGE) Awareness Training
This course educates current and transitioning U.S. Government (USG)-affiliated personnel about the risks associated with seeking or accepting foreign employment, the legal implications of such engagements, and the lifelong responsibility to protect oneself and U.S. national security from foreign exploitation. It addresses the persistent threat of foreign governments actively recruiting current and former USG-affiliated personnel to acquire insights into U.S. capabilities, tactics, techniques, and procedures, and covers key topics including the FGE application and vetting process, defensive counterintelligence awareness, mitigation strategies, and the duty to report foreign contacts and employment with real-world case studies of FGE violations.
NOTE 1: This course does not include a traditional graded exam. Instead, it features a mandatory attestation requirement. To complete the course, you must review all material and click "I Understand" on the final attestation page, affirming your understanding of the risks and potential legal implications
